Common Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to become a member?
No, membership is optional. We offer a Fee for Service option for patients who prefer traditional visit-based care with transparent pricing. However, membership provides enhanced access including telehealth, home visits, and direct provider communication.
Do I still need insurance?
DPC covers your primary care needs, but you may still want insurance for hospitalizations, specialists, and emergencies. Many members pair DPC with a high-deductible health plan.
What if I need a specialist?
We'll help coordinate referrals to specialists and can often negotiate better rates for common tests and procedures.
Can I cancel my membership?
Membership is a year contract, dissolvable with 30-day written notice by either party. This ensures continuity of care while giving both you and your provider flexibility.
